This wainscotting colour had been annoying me for ages since it was the only bit in the house left in this neutral colour of my grey era. This weekend I decided it was time and I painted it with the colour ‘intuitive’ of Histor, my now favourite neutral, a more pinkish beige. Interesting fact, the picture frames are holding pieces of the original vintage wallpaper found on the wall during renovations (the house was built in 1890) - super cool. Now I am just waiting for my movement sensor lights and then this part is finished.

This was so much fun! I did a dip dye workshop. And let me tell you, that was much harder than it looks. And very messy. But epic fails only contributed to the fun. These ones turned out alright! Pretty pleased with myself. Have you ever done this?⁣

Sometimes it's that simple. I had a tin of leftover paint, felt like a lighter colour for this vintage stool, and within half and hour I was all done.
